708-2L-00600 708-2L-00500 708-2L-00790 Komatsu PC200-8 PC210-8 PC220-8 PC240-8 PC270-8 Hydraulic Main Piston Pump

HPV95 twin axial variable displacement main piston pump, dual pumps integrated in one housing, directly driven by engine flywheel. It adopts Komatsu new generation CLSS Closed Center Load Sensing System, equipped with EPC electronic proportional regulator.

Common Faults & Solutions
  • Weak operation when hot: Wear of pistons and valve plate increases internal leakage. Hydraulic oil contamination is the main cause.
  • Engine lugging & speed drop: Stuck or misadjusted PC power valve, EPC solenoid malfunction, excessive pump absorbed power.
  • Slow whole machine movement: Damaged or clogged EPC solenoid coil, stuck LS spool, worn internal pump parts.
  • Abnormal noise & vibration: Blocked suction filter, air ingress in suction pipe causing cavitation; damaged bearing or piston & shoe.
  • Large case drain flow: Internal wear causes high-pressure oil internal leakage out of pump case drain port.
Komatsu PC200-8 Main Hydraulic Pump HPV95 with CLSS closed center load sensing system and EPC electronic control. Fits PC200-8 / PC220-8 excavator, widely used for earthmoving projects.
