This is an original-specification Kawasaki swash-plate variable-displacement axial piston pump, model HK3V180DTP-9N05, specially fitted for SH450-5 and SH460-5 excavators. It adopts a tandem variable piston pump structure with a pilot gear pump, acting as the main hydraulic power unit of the excavator. It supplies steady hydraulic oil for the boom, arm, bucket, and travel hydraulic circuits.
