Verify CAT OEM part number to ensure compatibility with CAT excavators and cooling system parameters, including pump body, drive assembly, and seal kit
New or remanufactured pumps must include hydraulic bench test reports verifying output pressure, flow rate, and internal leakage compliance with OEM specifications
For remanufactured assemblies, confirm replacement of gears/pistons, bearings, shaft seals, and all sealing components with new parts - no reuse of worn components
Upon arrival, inspect pump housing for cracks and sand holes, ensure input shaft and keyway are intact, and seal oil ports to prevent contaminant entry
Secure pump with adequate shock protection during transportation, protecting input shaft and port threads to avoid damage to precision mating surfaces
Before installation, clean fan hydraulic pipelines, replace corresponding hydraulic filters, and bleed air from system to prevent cavitation and premature component wear
After installation, commission system and test fan speed regulation function. Check for abnormal noise, oil leakage, and unstable pressure to ensure proper cooling fan speed control
